Consulting & Advisory Services
The bulk of individuals impacted by psychosocial and emotional health symptoms reside in low- and middle-income countries, often lacking access to adequate support systems. My work is dedicated to bridging this gap. I offer a spectrum of professional services geared towards facilitating program design, management, and monitoring. Additionally, I engage in tool and guideline development while fostering the skills and capacities of both practitioners and community members. Through empowerment initiatives, the aim is to cultivate resilience and promote thriving within communities.
My Services
Starting with a needs assessments and desk review, key informant interviews and FGDs, I use a collaborative design process to ensure stakeholder feedback and participatory engagement to define best practices and inform MHPSS programming, develop theories of change, and strategies to help you design your programs.
With an in-depth knowledge and understanding of global MHPSS and protection guidelines and experience working in a range of geographies and contexts, I can help you contextualize tools, guidelines, and standards to meet the needs of the populations you are working with. Most recently, I co-developed mental health integration guidelines for USAID Missions to use within their work in LMICs.
I have experience designing and leading trainings pn MHPSS, protection, and GBV in development and humanitarian settings, including PFA, safeguarding, burnout, vicarious trauma, stress management, self-care for humanitarians, etc. It is important to work alongside the existing infrastructure to fill in the MHPSS access gaps through ethical and sustainable capacity building. Therefore, I use a train-the-trainer model, and work closely with community partners to ensure cultural sensitivity and relevance.
